HC’s TOP Tips & Treatments this October

With Autumn finally here, it can sometimes leave you feeling a little blue but don’t let the colder months get you down! Here are our TOP tips and treatments that you should consider to ensure you’re feeling your best this time of year.

Dry skin problems?

When the air outside is cold, the water in your skin evaporates more quickly; this makes your skin feel dry and tight, and makes it appear flaky.

The key to avoiding this common skin problem is to moisturise and protect! Balms and creams often contain oils, this will provide nourishment that dry skin needs. Don’t be reluctant to re-apply when you feel your skin needs it.

It’s also essential to use a gentle exfoliator, usually 2 times per week to rid that build-up of dead skin cells.

Peel away pigmentation!

Skin Peels are designed to remove the layers of dead skin cells that cause problems and reveal a smooth complexion underneath. Each skin peel will target your skin’s individual needs. It will revitalise any dull, dry or damaged complexion issues as well as any sun damage whilst smoothing fine lines and wrinkles.

Vitamin C is Key

Vitamin C acts as an antioxidant which means it protects the body against disease. It’s vital for the production of collagen, used to build body tissue and bones. It’s a great idea to top up your vitamin intake around this time of year when the common cold is affecting many, but did you know that Vitamin C in the form of skincare acts as a protective shield?

It works to neutralize free-radicals. As well as reducing pigmentation, Vitamin C is relied upon for its’ anti-ageing properties – it boosts collagen production which ultimately leaves the skin looking firmer and more radiant. Not to mention it’s super anti-inflammatory power too; acne and rosacea sufferers claim their skin is calmer after using a Vitamin C derivative.

The Vitamin C Reversal Serum by Circadia contains the most stable and active form of Vitamin C which works an anti-oxidant to neutralize free radicals whilst increasing the firm look of skin. It also contains hyaluronic acid and Vitamin B5 to hydrate and smooth.
