Fat gain
It comes as no surprise we’re all a little more plump after the festive break. If you can literally “grab” your love handles or excess fat, we can freeze it – it’s that simple.
Fat Freezing is a body contouring procedure that acts as a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. CoolTech® reduces fat tissue with Cryo-technology using a controlled cooling system.
After a cool gel pad covers the treated area, the CoolTech® hand-piece is then applied and begins to create a vacuum effect that reduces blood flow.
The fat tissue is then momentarily cooled and as body temperatures drop from around 3°C to -8°C, fat cells begin to freeze and crystalize, causing cell death. This process lasts around 70 minutes and as this is a non-invasive treatment, you are free to enjoy a book or work from your laptop.
After the applicator is removed when the treatment session is complete, the area will appear red and lumpy. Your Aesthetic Practitioner massages the treated area to further break down the unwanted fat. The fat cells are then gradually eliminated through the normal metabolism process (via the lymphatic system).
It is non-invasive as there are no incisions required, and therefore no recovery time is needed. Stubborn pockets of fat can be removed without additional diet or exercise.
