What is Laser Resurfacing?

  • What is Laser Resurfacing & how does it work?

The Laser Resurfacing treatment uses iPixel technology to rejuvenate and acts as a healer for problematic skin. It creates an ablative effect at the pixel area – a micro injury – without disturbing any surrounding tissue. The micro injured areas then start the process of healing as collagen remodels, skin tightens and the skin texture improves.

  • What conditions or concerns does this treatment work on?

iPixel laser treatment helps to improve skin texture, tone and pore size, and reduces or removes the appearance of marks and blemishes. Scarring, ageing etc.

  • Can anyone have this treatment?

This type of laser uses rapid pulses of high-intensity light to remove the damaged upper layers of your skin.

  • Is the treatment safe?

iPixel is completely safe, effective and has been approved by the FDA.

  • Is Laser Resurfacing painful?

You can expect to experience a mild sunburn type sensation for 3–4 hours, then virtually no discomfort at all.

  • When will the client notice results?

Skin resurfacing with the iPixel laser is a gradual process and more than one session will be required. But after two weeks, the new skin begins to form therefore any redness will soften. The treated area may appear blushed until the healing process is completely over.

  • How many treatments are recommended to see results?

We recommend a minimum of 4–6 treatments every 4 weeks but this depends on the individual and their skin condition.

  • What results are expected after a course of treatments?

Skin texture will be smoothed, imperfections will be reduced and overall appearance will be youthful and glowing.
