We use the top-of-the-range Soprano Titanium laser hair removal system in our North London clinics.
The Soprano Titanium uses the latest laser technology and is so safe and effective that it is FDA-approved.
Unlike shaving or wax hair removal, laser hair removal focuses on the growth cells in the hair follicles.
Your therapist will pass a handheld device over your skin, which sends laser light deep into the follicles. The laser energy is absorbed and turns into heat in the lower levels of the skin. This temperature change permanently damages the growth cells, preventing them from producing more hair.
The lasers that we use are virtually pain-free. Many clients describe a sensation of warmth or tingling as the laser energy converts to heat in the lower layer of the skin.

Laser hair removal gives excellent results and once the hair growth cells in your hair follicles have been destroyed, they will not produce more hair.
The ideal time for your hair follicles to be treated is during the active phase of their growth cycle. It may be impossible to catch every hair follicle at this optimum stage during your course of laser treatments. If individual hairs do reappear, you can return to the clinic for top-ups.

Our laser hair removal treatments are super quick, starting at 15 minutes in duration.
The number of laser sessions you will need will be discussed at your free consultation at your nearest HC MedSpa North London clinic.
A large area like the back will require more sessions for perfect results than a small area like the upper lip.
Typically our clients need 6 laser sessions. We often find that male clients need more sessions than women as their hair tends to be coarser and more difficult to treat.
No downtime will be required, but your skin may be a little more sensitive than usual after your laser hair removal in North London.
We advise our clients to avoid waxing, hot baths and showers, sun exposure or sunbeds after laser hair removal as they could irritate your skin.
Shaving the treatment area is an essential first step in the hair removal process, and we ask our clients to shave the treatment area carefully before arrival at the clinic.
Hair-free skin is required for excellent results as it helps your laser practitioner identify each hair follicle and direct laser light right into the centre.
Although the upfront cost of a laser hair removal treatment may be higher than a waxing session, the results will be long-lasting, only requiring occasional top-ups at most. Like shaving, waxing is only a temporary fix, whereas laser hair removal can be permanent.
