How does it work?

Morpheus8 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling device that combines the properties and benefits of both radiofrequency and microneedling to treat fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, skin tone and sagging skin.

During a Morpheus8 treatment, ultra-thin needles that emit radiofrequency energy are stamped into your skin to prompt collagen and elastin production—the two key proteins responsible for skin firmness, tightness, and smoothness.

The 24 coated pins penetrate into the subdermal tissue, coagulating the fat and contracting connective tissue and fat to tighten and rejuvenate the area. By targeting the deeper layers of the skin, tissues of the face and body can be remodeled to reveal a tighter, more radiant youthful appearance.

What areas does it treat?

The combination of microneedling and RF technology allows for a precise and customizable treatment, making it suitable for individuals with diverse skin concerns.

The main areas that can be treated are the face, eyes, neck, arms, abdomen, thighs and back.

How many sessions will I need?

Typically, we recommend a course of 3 sessions to see the best results. Ideally 1 treatment every 4-6 weeks. Clients may wish to have a ‘top-up’ every 1-2 years.

Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically the most noticeable results appear after three weeks and improvements continue up to three months after treatment.

Is it painful?

Morpheus8 is a non-invasive procedure that is described by many of our clients as producing minimal pain and discomfort.

A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the area being treated prior to commencing treatment for optimal patient comfort.

Is it suitable for all skin types?

Morpheus8 delivers uniform results for all skin types without creating any thermal damage to your dermis.

The innovative technology also reduces the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, which is a side effect of some resurfacing techniques.

How long do results last?

Results for Morpheus8 are long-lasting due to the treatment penetrating the skin at a very deep level. After a course of 3-6 sessions, you can enjoy results that can last up to 3 years before the treatment is needed again. That said, an individual’s lifestyle choices will affect how long results last for. You must also look after your overall health and fitness.
