Tear Troughs

Tear Trough, Dermal Filler uses a small injection filled with Dermal Filler; which is essentially a manmade gel that mimics the body’s natural hyaluronic acid. Its purpose is to add volume underneath the eyes. It works to replace the lost volume and decreases indentations both hereditary or by ageing. The outcome is smoother, younger-looking, more radiant skin.

‘Tear Troughs’ are the interface between our lower eyelids and upper cheek area. An individual may choose this treatment as their appearance alters with the natural ageing process; causing hollowing, shadowing and deep circles under the eye area.

Your Aesthetic Doctor will ensure that the treatment is as comfortable as possible by applying a Topical Anaesthetic prior to the procedure to numb the area and as all of our treatments, end results are thoroughly discussed within your initial consultation. Results are visible immediately although, mild bruising is expected, it will completely subside after 3-7 days.
