Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel

The cosmelan® method is a topical treatment lasting approximately 6 months that combines a single salon session with an on-going at-home treatment necessary to obtain optimum results.

In a single clinic session the aesthetic professional applies the mask with an intensive depigmenting action. The treatment continues at home. Under the aesthetic professional’s indications and recommendations, the patient must adhere to a regimen for the application of the cosmeceuticals complementary to the method, which will vary according to the phase and progress of the treatment.

How does the Cosmelan depigmentation peel work?

This treatment involves a single clinic session followed by a structured homecare regimen. Included in the cost is a specialised Cosmelan aftercare starter kit, which contains cleansers, moisturisers, and maintenance creams.

The process starts with your practitioner cleansing your face and neck to eliminate any excess dirt or oils. Next, a thick Cosmelan mask is applied, which remains on for up to 8 hours based on your specific treatment goals. You will remove the mask at home and use our aftercare kit twice a day for 6 months.

What happens after the treatment?

A few days after your initial treatment, your skin will begin to peel and reveal visibly clearer skin underneath. Although this is painless, you might experience redness, dryness and discomfort.

During the first month after treatment, only use skincare products provided in our aftercare kit. Avoid products containing vitamin C or retinols as these can interfere with recovery and lessen the results.

Results

During the first week after treatment, your skin blemishes will diminish significantly, revealing a clearer, healthier, and brighter complexion. Optimal results will be visible within 30-60 days following your Cosmelan depigmentation peel as you continue using our cooling and moisturising aftercare kit.
