iPixel for Stretch Marks

  • 1 Clinically proven with extensive studies
  • 2 Achieves smoother skin complexion
  • 3 Long-lasting results

Stretch marks or ‘Striae Distensa’ form deep within the Dermis layer of the skin. They are smooth bands that develop as narrow streaks or lines. Depending on the skin tone, they can appear red or purple in colour but often fade overtime, leaving silvery, pale marks.
When the skin undergoes a period of rapid stretching, the stress causes damage to the skin’s connective tissues. Although more commonly found in women, anyone can develop stretch marks, whether it is pregnancy, rapid weight gain, obesity, puberty, weightlifting or certain medical conditions.

The iPixel is an effective laser treatment for stretch marks, it significantly improves overall skin tone, elasticity and texture, increases moisture content, and reduces superficial pigmentation and pore size.
This treatment is suitable for treating skin conditions related with an active lifestyle and ageing, such as scarring or stretch marks. The laser treatment can completely resurface any chosen area of skin, resulting in a very effective stretch mark treatment.

Unlike traditional ablative laser resurfacing which removes the entire top layer of the skin, the iPixel employs a fractional delivery method which creates pixel-sized perforations to the skin, leaving the surrounding tissue intact. This allows the skin to heal faster as the epidermis is regenerated.

This treatment is available in: FinchleyMill Hill, and Radlett.

What is iPixel laser?
iPixel treatment rejuvenates skin and acts as a healer for problematic skin. It creates an ablative effect on the pixel area – a micro injury – without disturbing any surrounding tissue. The micro injured areas then start the process of healing as collagen remodels, skin tightens and the texture improves.
